The Club Captain of Royal Cromer, Graeme Wilton, welcomed the visitors from Derbyshire to Royal Cromer and hoped that they all enjoyed their day in Norfolk.

In response Norman Harvey thanked both the Royal Cromer Golf Club and the Norfolk Society for their hospitality. The course was superb, company most pleasant, weather perfect and refreshments most tasty.

It was only the result of the match that was not in the favour of the visitors. He then proceeded to present the Shield to Malcolm Fuller 2010 Norfolk Society end for safe keeping until the 2012 match in Derbyshire.
